taca can cook : : marble cheesecake ::

one of the dessert yang aku suka sangat makan dan buat ialah cheesecake atau kek keju.. banyak version cheesecake.. ada baked, no-bake, cotton cheesecake dan macam2 lagi.. bukan setakat sweet version, savoury version pun ade... :)

kalau korang nak tahu, enRambutan suka sangat makan marble cheesecake.. dalam banyak2 cake kat Resipi Rahsia tu.. Marble Cheesecake jugak menjadi pilihannya... tak tahu laa pasal ape :) nama je org kampung (konon) selera omputih tuuu~~ huhuhuh

::MARBLE CHEESECAKE::

base:
200gm digestive biscuits (crushed/whacked into powder)
100gm melted butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder


filling:
500g cream cheese (i used TATURA brand)
250ml light sour cream
3/4 cup brown sugar (if u like it sweeter use white caster sugar)
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
150gm dark chocolate (melted)

method: 
1. mix crushed biscuits with cocoa power and melted butter. mix it until it became like wet sand.. prepare a springform pan and put all the biscuits mixture. pat it with the back of ur hand (i use fork) until it covers the base of the pan. put in the freezer for 1 hour.
3.preheat the oven at 160 degree celcius.
2. for the filling. mix all the ingredients except for dark chocolate using a han mixer or in a blender until smooth. mix 1/3 of the filling with melted dark chocolate.
3. pour the white batter into the prepared base. pour some of the chocolate mix on top and swirl it to create the marbled effect.
4. bake in waterbath for 55 mins to 1 hr. after 55 mins, shut off the oven and open the oven door a bit.. and let it cool for approximately 1 hr. refridgerate it for 1 hour or more.

* for this batter i got 2 cakes : a 7" springform pan and a small corelle pan :P
